what's the difference between MR. POTATO and POTATO PEOPLE? are they different things? absolutely! MR. POTATO is a potato chips while POTATO PEOPLE is the title of ANGELA WRIGHT's novel which was once a literature novel for form 2 students in Malaysia. in Malaysia? or maybe in certain states in Malaysia. ==' but not anymore~ next year, form 2 students gonna use another novel and i hv no idea about it. my little brother gonna use it and he's the first batch. oke, why did i bring these things up? bcuz i want to share a story about these two things.
once upon a time (ttibe jek), when was it? God knows. i dont remember. me and my friend were talking about our breakfast meals (ntah pape, macam tadek mende je nak cakap.haha). if i am not mistaken, it was before PMR kot, but PMR was just around the corner la time tu. and i said, i took POTATO PEOPLE for my breakfast. then she asked, hah? POTATO PEOPLE? dan dengan selambenye aku jawab, yelah, POTATO PEOPLE (dalam pikiran mase tuh, maybe die pelik kot aku breakfast dengan POTATO PEOPLE). then something went through my mind. IDIOT! POTATO PEOPLE tu tajuk novel la, bukan makanan! it supposed to be MR. POTATO! HAHA. so, ape lagi, gelak sakan la. adoi~
then, just now, my akak was about to go to kedai. then i asked her to buy POTATO PEOPLE. (tapi dalam hati, cam weird je. POTATO PEOPLE?). pastu, she laughed all of sudden. gelak bukan main lagi. then aku tersedar la. YA ALLAH! tersilap lagi! adoi~
also got in rice crisps version instead of potato crisps.
but in school, we used the different cover, not like this one.
* though i never finish the novel, tapi nak bile nak sebut MR. POTATO, gedik2 nak sebut POTATO PEOPLE. haish~
